Cupcake Lush Facemask

Highly recommend this product when it is on it smells amazing! As you can see I have already used a fair bit of this face mask but there is plenty more to go! For those of you who haven't tried Lush face masks before they have to be used within 3 week of purchase and there is a date on them. They are to be stored in the fridge and it is recommended that you do 2 face masks a week. But my skin is loving this face mask so I highly recommend it for those of you with problem skin.

Bourjois Highlighting Powder - Poudre Illuminatrice

Product review time!


I heard so much about the Bourjois chocolate style products and being a white chocolate loveruvauva I thought I would try the Highlighting powder. Also, not owning a highlighter I thought this would be a good purchase. I bought mine off Ebay for about £6.


Upon receiving it I was so excited to smell it and see if it does really smell like white chocolate! All I can say to everyone who has said this is- what white chocolate have you been smelling? To me this smells nothing like chocolate- just very powdery! So this was a major disappointment to me.


There is a lot of product for your money, so in this respect it is a really good purchase. To highlight I would just put my finger in and apply to areas such as my cheeks. I found with a brush I didn't see any highlight to my face. When you swatch with your finger you get quite a good amount of product but for some reason it doesn't transfer to your face.


I don't want to write a bad review but I was a little disappointed with this product. As I said for the money you can't complain at how much product you get but if you want a strong visible highlighter then this isn't really the one for you. But if you want a subtle highlighter then I would say this would be a good product!
