Clinique Anti-Blemish solutions foundation- Review!

Hi Guys!
It's been so long since I have managed to find the time to write a review, I've recently started a new job so I've had a lot of things to do and get used to! So this explains my absence. I also had to undergo an operation but I'm all recovered now! ... On to the review!

I first found this foundation on the Debenhams website. I was looking for a more up market foundation and just chosen to look at Clinique! I read the reviews on the site and for the most part seemed pretty good so I decided to purchase it. It's around £22 so its not the most expensive out there, but it was a big step in price from what I'm used to paying! Previous to this I would wear the Dream Matte Mouse foundation by Maybeline.

I ordered the lightest shade- Alabaster. When it come I feel in love with the packaging- so pretty! It comes in what i would call a semi-squeezy tube (as the plastic is a good standard!) so to apply I squeeze a bit on my hand, use my brush or if I'm in a rush just my fingers! It's a liquid so it's really easy to build up coverage, but in actually fact I find I don't need that much anyway! It covers my skin really well, and the colour is perfect for me! (YAY!) I like the fact the coverage is buildable I find this a really big plus.

My skin is not the worst skin out there, but it's not the best either, when at School i suffered with acne and looking back it was pretty bad! I got bullied and my confidence was knocked, so my skin is always something I am worried about. Now at 19, I do still get spots, some worse than others, but no where near as bad and all in all I'm happy with my skin, but I wanted a foundation aimed towards spot reasons. This foundation is an oil free foundation so pore clogging is minimal, it also has ingredients to fight spots, so win, win! I've been using this for about a month now, and I'm loving it, I can't get enough of it, and my spots are few and far between, so extra points!

I would highly recommend this foundation to anyone who suffers/ed with problem skin, its a great confidence boost I find, and I'm not worrying what I'm putting on my skin either. I know it's pricey but if it makes you feel good surely its worth it, right? I think so.

  1. I wanted to buy this foundation so many times but I never convinced myself to spend so much money on it :( I think I will have it on my wishlist for sometime hoping that I will finally convince myself to buy it :)
